UPDATES...at last....

So it's been along time since I've updated the blog...sorry! We've been busy watching Ben grow....

watching a bunny have baby bunnies....Sam was ready with a drink of water for the laboring bunny. He'll make a great husband someday!

Chris has fixed our dryer twice in the past month or so...thank heavens for the Internet. It has saved us big money and the dryer has worked after our crazy adventuresome fixes.

We've spent many wonderful days outside and at the park.

It's been a fun and busy spring. Enjoy the updates below.

Bunk Beds

We decided to put together the boys' bunk beds this week. They have been sharing a twin bed for the year. Charlie and Sam were so excited they couldn't stop talking almost the entire time Chris was putting the bunk beds together. Charlie loves sleeping on the top bunk! It's nice that they each have their own space to sleep.

Hiking at Nerstrand Big Woods State Park

We took a day trip to Nerstrand Big Woods State Park this past Wednesday. It is near Northfield. The boys had a great time hiking to a waterfall and then throwing rocks. They had a great time after our picnic playing on the playground and meeting new friends. A group of us are going to try and meet and hike every week with our kids. I am looking forward to getting to know some new parks in the area!

Entertainment

Sam and his buddy Johan enjoying the garbage truck. Sam loves watching the trucks every Thursday.

My boys love trucks! Last week the street sweepers came through. It was a full morning of entertainment.

Charlie started t-ball

Charlie is taking t-ball for the first time this summer. This spring he has practice on Tuesdays. They have worked on throwing, catching, and hitting. He loves it. He will start games in June.

Happy Mother's Day

We had a very mellow Mother's Day this year. We usually go to the Peace Gardens but we have 2 sick little boys. Sam is getting another cold...he just finished one last week and Ben had his first temperatures. He had a temperature for parts of 3 days. This afternoon he was temperature free but was the hardest he's ever been to put to sleep. He cried on and off for almost 2 hours before falling asleep in my arms. Poor little guy....poor mommy! It was still nice to spend the day at home with my guys.

Ben loves to sit and watch his brothers...

Ben will be 6 months old tomorrow. He can't sit on his own but loves to sit upright in things to watch what is going on around him. He makes noise to get our attention and then smiles big when we look his way. He laughs for Sam and Charlie everyday. He loves his big brothers.
