For the joy of it

My little baby is now a toddler...ONE year old. I read a book about a women who talked about having a third baby "For the joy of it". Ben, you have been a joy since the moment I first saw you! You make us all smile every day. Your happy dance, morning smiles, and hands high stands are pure joy. Happy first birthday. We love you!

Tonight is the night we first met Ben a year ago! My mom stayed one more night...just in case. What awesome memories! You can't beat holding your baby for the first time.

I just purchased a new canon this weekend. I'm trying to learn more about photography and made the jump to a DSLR. I'm excited about the beautiful weather this week that will allow me to get outside and try it out.
