Wordless Winter Wednesday

Brotherly Love

Many pictures came to mind for this weeks challenge at I Heart Faces "Hands On Fun".  I kept coming back to this photo taken when my youngest was 1 week old.  The only thing missing is the big smile of pride and love on Charlie's face when his new baby brother grabbed his finger.  I know this picture doesn't really show fun...but it shows the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Ben Is Back...

Ben is feeling better after having RSV, pneumonia, and an ear infection last week. He was a very sick little cuddle bug. It's nice to see him playing again. He must have daydreamed about climbing during his illness. He can now climb onto the coffee table, chairs, and all the way to the top of the ladder of the bunk beds. He hasn't figured out how to get his leg over the top but he sure tries. We've never had a climber before so we are hopeful this age will pass quickly before playground season...although I know it's doubtful.

We celebrated our new healthiness by picnicking at Como Conservatory. The humidity, green, and flowers were a welcome relief from the mid-Feb snow and cold.

Kiss Me!

This week's theme at I Heart Faces is We heart Kisses. I thought this would make a fun entry. I bribed the boys with a few heart treats and they did some kissing for me! They also did lots of laughing and wiping of cheeks! I wanted to enter an "after the kiss" photo but they weren't allowed this week.

Sam's baby

Sam loves playing with stuffed animals pretending they are his babies. He gives them lots of kisses and makes sure they are warm when they take their naps. It's very sweet to watch him take care of his little babies.

Another snowy Day

Tuesday was a perfect winter day. Light snow and no breeze. We were outside 2 times to enjoy the day. We went for a walk around the block and Ben practiced walking up and down the sidewalk in his boots.

Happy Valentine's Month

We are excited about the shortest month of the year! February i love you...you mean I can start thinking about green grass and birds singing in the morning...only start.

The boys are actually outside shoveling as the snow falls. They love the snow! Ben pointed at the door and cried when I didn't take him outside. Minnesota boys....it's a good thing since that's where we live!
