Watch Me Go

Sam is trying to talk all of the time. He can say about 25 words. Some that we hear most days:
"up pez, up pez, up pez", "hunree" (hungry), "hel pez" (help please), "ME!", "ah-ble" (apple), "hat", "uck" (stuck), "ock" (sock) Most mornings we awake to the calls of "Ma-ma, Pa-pa, up pez, hunree, ah duh" (all done) "beep", "pee-boo" (peek a boo), "be-be?" (where's blankie?), and "ba-ba Pa-pa" as he looks out the window to watch Pa go to work. Sam is a Pa-pa's boy. His favorite time of day is when Pa comes home.
Sam and Charlie love to help cook.

The Walker

Sam spends most days doing laps around the main floor. He is still proud of his walking abilities. He loves to follow Charlie's trains around or try to kick balls. He loves walking.
Hands up and ready for the fall.
Charlie is all smiles and feeling better after being sick for a week.

A Trip to Chicago

Sam enjoyed his first plane trip to Chicago. He ate the entire flight! Charlie loved watching the planes on the runway and in the gate. He enjoyed the flight except for when the plane was "tippy".
We went to visit Auntie Jen and Kate. Sam LOVED Kate's new kitchen. He cooked whenever the older two left the kitchen area free.
Kate and Charlie loved making "Fettucini". We were so glad Nana made the trip!
Charlie and I made lemon cupcakes for an early birthday party for Kate. She turned 2.

Chicago Adventures

We went to the Lincoln Park Zoo. Charlie, Sam, and Kate enjoyed climbing on the hippos.
Nana and Charlie enjoyed the piranas.
Sam loves to watch the fish inside the big tanks.
The komodo dragon didn't know what to think about the kids so close to him.
We were very excited to spend the morning at the Shedd Aquarium with our dear friend and his family.

January Adventures

Our special guest for dinner Goggles Paesano was adhearing to the first rule of shop safety. His Pa has been working hard on driving this rule home....safety glasses, safety glasses, safety glasses.
We tried ice skating with Charlie but ended up spending more time getting skates on then on the ice. We ended up at the park instead. Sam enjoyed the swing. Charlie made this rocket at the Children's Museum while Sam tried to get some attention. The museum has been our favorite destination this winter.
Playing with buddies is always fun in the winter as well.
